Panic decides faster than rescue arrives.
Panic can lead to fatal jumps from height during fire emergencies. Lifts are unusable, stairwells fill with smoke, and external rescue depends on access, traffic and equipment reach. A personal controlled-descent route removes that dependency.

Reach the descent point
The unit is mounted in its aluminium frame at the balcony, window or exit landing chosen during the survey.
Put on the harness
The harness is attached to the line by an EN 362 connector. No tools and no power are needed.
Step out and release
The sealed rotary brake takes the load immediately and regulates the speed. Nothing is held or operated during the descent.
Descend at a fixed rate
Descent stays between 0.8 and 1 m/s for any load between 30 and 100 kg, to the ground or to the rescue cushion.

Is SafeSKYDROP™ a pulley?
No. A pulley only redirects movement. SafeSKYDROP™ uses an internal rotary mechanism that actively regulates descent speed, holding it between 0.8 and 1 m/s.
Does it need electricity?
No. There is no motor, battery or building power in the descent path. An annual check is recommended, but the braking system is maintenance-free.
What weight range does it cover?
The certified rated load is 30 to 100 kg, tested and passed at both limits under EN 341:2011.
